Principal's Welcome

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to St. Clare’s Primary School and Nursery School online.

As I begin my fourth year as Principal, I want to share with you the wonderful opportunities that available to you and your children when attending this wonderful school. I take pride in the positive communications we have with home and I thank the many parents who have expressed their deep satisfaction with our programme of work. We are very fortunate to have such a talented staff at our disposal. So much of their dedication, time and effort goes unseen. However, I know the high standards that we have in this school and the marriage of home and school is something we hold close to our hearts.

From a pastoral point of view, we make every effort to meet the needs of all our pupils. Our Pastoral Care Team meet regularly and we make the effort to contact all outside agencies who may be of help to your child. We will always tirelessly work on your behalf to ensure that the proper care and attention is afforded every child where the need arises.

We have such high expectations for all our pupils and we seek every opportunity to give our pupils a varied experience of life. We can only say that we will do everything to ensure that your child is given a chance to develop emotionally, academically and socially. We are passionate about our school and the provision we make for our pupils and parents and in association with our outside providers such as MUMO, Full Service Community Network, Relate NI and Extended Schools Cluster, in association with our statutory partners, indicates that we will draw upon every opportunity to meet the needs of every child we are privileged to enrol in our school.

I hope you enjoy visiting our website and I encourage you to contact me for further details of how St. Clare’s Primary School and Nursery Unit can deliver the education that you would want for your child.

Yours sincerely,

C.O’Doherty,

Principal
